It is this legacy that is being showcased from June 16th – 17th, 2023 in Toronto, during which the brand will celebrate 20 years of South Asian “Empire Builders” in the world’s most diverse and inclusive country – Canada.

ANOKHI is proud to support the Centre For Addiction & Mental Health (CAMH) during its anniversary celebration, through awareness amplification campaigns to normalize mental health awareness among South Asians as part of multi-tiered #ANOKHI20 activations. In addition, a keynote presentation by CAMH will be featured at the Mental Health Awareness Brunch on June 17th.
DID YOU KNOW: There are 2.6 million people of South Asian origin in Canada, representing seven percent of the population and the country’s largest racialized group. This population has a higher rate of anxiety and mood disorders, but is also 85% less likely to seek treatment due to many factors, including socioeconomic disparities, cultural differences and stigma (camh.ca).
